Most of the worm gears, screw jacks and electromechanical cylinders we manufacture are customized to some extent. Swedrive is the answer when it comes to finding the optimal solution for a specific application. Customizing transmission solutions is in our DNA, and in close cooperation with our customers we modify our range until optimal function is achieved. It may be a customized screw jack in stainless steel for the paper industry, or a customized cylinder with ATEX classification for use in an explosive atmosphere. Both screw jacks and actuators are stroke-dependent, which is also a form of customization. Other examples are submersible worm gears for marine environments, or a customer-specific gear housing for an agricultural application.
